Yachats River Valley Farm Tour Celebrates 16 Years of Homegrown Magic

YACHATS, OR – (August 15, 2026) – Mark your calendars: the beloved Yachats River Valley

Farm Tour returns Saturday, August 15th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with its 16th annual

celebration of local farms, handmade goods, and the people who make the valley special.

This free, self-guided tour invites locals and visitors to wander up river along the

Yachats River Road and its North and South forks, discovering the rich agricultural life tucked

into this stunning coastal landscape. From cactus to herbs, tomatoes to soap, the valley is

brimming with treasures - and stories - waiting to be discovered.

“The Farm Tour is such a great way to connect with local people who are engaged with the land

in such vital ways,” says herbalist L. Leland of Blossomwood Farmstead. “It’s amazing to see

the variety and creativity of the farmers.”

Four unique farms and nurseries will open their gates this year, along with three additional farms

gathering together at those same sites. They all offer an up-close look at small-scale,

sustainable agriculture. Visitors will meet growers, makers, and homesteaders eager to share

their work - and their wares. You’ll find:

● Produce, jams, and plants at Seeds of Oregon (1603 Yachats River Rd)

● Tomatoes and Honey at Riverfolk Farm LLC (also at Seeds of Oregon)

● Herbs, herbal tea blends, tinctures, flower essences, and other herbal remedies at

Blossomwood Farmstead (6971 Yachats River Rd)

● Blueberries, cut flowers, jams, produce, and aprons at Forks Farm (8 North Yachats

River Road)

● Tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, and more at Dragonfly Farm (also at Forks Farm)

● Succulents and cacti at Yaquina Nursery (9724 Yachats River Road)

● Seawater soaps and cut flowers at Billow Cloud Soaps (also at Yaquina Nursery)

Please bring water, comfortable shoes, and an appetite for the unexpected. Greenhouses can

get warm, so please plan your visit to the farms with greenhouses during cooler hours if you are

sensitive to heat.

This grassroots tradition began with a few neighbors and a dream: to connect folks with the

land and the people who live close to it. Sixteen years later, the Yachats River Valley Farm Tour

is still all about community, resilience, and real farm products - and you’re invited!
