Every year we are learning and growing as land stewards in this beautiful valley. When we purchased these 32 acres in 2021 we knew we were in for a HUGE project. Our first priority was to address the structural degradation of the greenhouses and get the business in good shape again. We knew the land had been treated like a dumpster by previous owners and abused by previous tenants. We did not realize the extent of some of these damages or the financial burden to address the full overhaul.

We have become fully versed in the approaches to identify and safely contain and dispose of hazardous wastes in proximity to a waterway. We are proud to share knowledge, tools and time with neighbors when need arises to accomplish similar work on neighboring properties. As part of a generation of humans who aren’t afraid to make tough choices that put land stewardship and environmental equity over personal profits, we take pride in what we accomplish each year on this land.
